Jackie Turner
I began my coaching career at South in 1999 as an assistant cheer coach before becoming the Head Varsity Coach in the spring of 2016. I cheered throughout junior high and high school in Boone, Iowa and for 4 years at Drake University. I have been a Social Studies teacher at South since 1997, and prior to that was a substitute teacher for 17 years in the SM District while I raised my 3 children. My husband Greg and I have been married for 38 years.
My favorite part of coaching is building relationships with the girls and watching them grow into confident young ladies as they progress through the cheer program. I’m looking forward to a fun and successful year with our new squads!

My name is Arione Moore. I have coached Junior Varsity for South since 2016. I'm also a dance coach for a non-profit dance studio. I am 26 and I also used to cheer for Shawnee Mission South. Cheer is a passion of mine and I love coaching the girls. I'm so happy to be a part of this wonderful program!

Freshman Coach
Megan Netherton
I started my career in Shawnee Mission in 2019. I am a teacher at Brookwood Elementary as well as the freshman cheer coach. My husband, Tim, and I have been married for two years. We love playing tennis, watching the Chiefs and going on walks with our sweet dog, Miller.
I grew up in Shawnee Mission schools and graduated from South in 2012. I am a proud SMS cheer alum, and I am honored to work for the program that gave me so many great memories and friendships. Go Raiders!
